Dining Benches

These benches were commissioned pieces made from solid birch slabs. The lumber was harvested by a local mill, all local grown and kiln-dried. In fact, the two benches utilized slabs from the same tree, giving similar characteristics to both. The wood had natural imperfections and burls, which was incorporated and highlighted on the bench top and crossbeams.
